On a related note, is there any site dedicated to the preservation of old shockwave games, in particular, the many that were on before it became the crapfest that it is today? The Web Archive has simply failed to preserve most of the old games, and many of them do not run properly with modern computers. I do not remember ever seeing Donot Boy 1 nor 2. Lenny Loosejocks can be easily found on Ezone, the original site for the game, while Donut Boy 3 is also on the original site. Long story short, today I decided to look for the Merlin Quest file online, only to find that it is a 34 kb file saying presents. Some point later, moved the game into another directory on their site. Judging from old (well, post mid-2000s), at some point decided to remove the game, and accidentally placed an old version of the game when it was still under development. dir file for the game, but it only included the archery game and two of the four (I guess five) games in Merlin’s Quest, with the weird “come back in a week” bug. I uninstalled Shockwave Player from Control Panel, rebooted, and reinstalled the new version of Shockwave Player. I found a newer version of Shockwave Player 12.2.5.195 and installed that. When I ran the test page from Adobe (), I noticed that the new Flash Player was working, but my Shockwave Player was not. I just updated Adobe Flash Player to the latest version 23.0.0.185 on my Windows 10 laptop using Firefox 49.0.1. I also have Adguard which is new, but I see no settings there that would affect it. Does anyone have any idea why Shockwave Player would stop working? Is some plugin possibly blocking it? I do have NoScript but allowed on the Adobe Test page.
